Club boss willing to negotiate transfer, Newcastle have opened talks with £20m Champions League star, Tottenham also linked
Besiktas president Fikret Orman has lifted the lid on the status of star striker Cenk Tosun.
Orman has revealed he is ready to listed to offers for Tosun in January but that he would prefer to sell his star man at the end of the season.
The Turkish international has been closely linked with Newcastle united and Tottenham this season.
A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that both clubs have send scouts to keep tabs on the forward this campaign.
Despite the interest no official offer has yet to be made.
Orman told TRT Spor: “Cenk Tosun is like a diamond, a part of our family. If the conditions are right for Besiktas and the player, we will speak as of that day… There is no official offer to me at the moment.”

The reigning Super Lig champions value Tosun who has another two-years remaining on his contract as being worth £20 million.
The 26-year-old’s father Senol Tosun reportedly travelled to England to hold talks with Newcastle officials according to Sport Arena.
Per the source, Senol represents his son and will hold talks with Besiktas next over what their plans are for the striker.
Newcastle are expected to scout Tosun tonight against Porto on Match Day 5.
Tosun has four goals and one assist in the Champions League this season.
In total the forward has 10 goals in 16 games for the Eagles.
