Newly-promoted Serie A side Como are reportedly ready to make a significant move in the transfer market, preparing a bid of €18 million plus add-ons to secure the services of Galatasaray central defender Davinson Sánchez.

According to Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, the proposed deal is expected to include an initial fee of €18 million, with an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses.

Sánchez, who recently celebrated his 29th birthday, is currently under contract with Galatasaray until June 2027, with an option for a further year.

The Colombia international boasts an impressive resume, with 71 senior caps for his country and extensive experience in European football since 2016.

After a notable spell with Ajax, Sánchez made a high-profile move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 for €42 million. He then joined Galatasaray in September 2023 for €9.5 million.

Last season, Sánchez was a key figure for Galatasaray, making 44 official appearances and contributing significantly from defense with five goals and two assists.

Como has been among the most active spenders in the Serie A transfer window this summer, reflecting their ambition to consolidate their top-flight status.

The club is keen to provide coach Cesc Fàbregas with a stronger squad capable of competing at the highest level of Italian football. The potential acquisition of a seasoned defender like Sánchez would undoubtedly be a major statement of intent for the club.
