Turkish-Football understands that Fenerbahce want to make the 26-year-old a marquee signing this summer.

The Yellow Canaries want to make a big name transfer after Ali Koc was elected club president last month.

Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli is currently in London hoping to secure a deal with the England midfielder.

Comolli has close ties with Arsenal and Wilshere following his time at the club between 1996 to 2004.

The Istanbul based outfit are aware that Wilshere is keen on staying in England but believe they can provide the midfielder with an attractive offer.

The midfielder is unlikely to be a first-team player for a top-six side in the Premier League.

Fenerbahce would be prepared to make Wilshere a first-team player, meet his wage demands and could also offer the prospect of Champions League football – should the Canaries make it past the playoff round.

According to the Betfair, Fenerbahce are favourites to sign the 26-year-old midfielder this summer.

The Yellow Canaries have been given odds of 4/5 while West Ham are second with odds of 9/4.

Wilshere scored two goals and provided seven assists in 40 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions this season.
