Concern Grows Over Everton Loanee Henry Onyekuru, Set For Meeting With Galatasaray Boss Fatih Terim

Everton ace Henry Onyekuru got off to a great start on loan at Galatasaray breaking into the team and scoring two goals in first three games.

Onyekuru’s form has taken a dip in recent weeks and he has come under criticism from sections of the media and fanbase.

Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has also grown concerned with the winger and is set to hold a meeting once he returns from international duty.

A source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football that Terim remains confident in Onyekuru but that he needs to regain his focus.

The 21-year-old’s has picked up a poor rating from the statistics site Whoscored who gather data from Opta.

Onyekuru has been dispossessed on average 1.6 times per-match and has had 2.5 unsuccessful touches per-game.

His passing has been poor, averaging just 12 passes a game with a 71.9 percent accuracy.

Terim has started Onyekuru in three of the last four games but is facing pressure to drop the young winger.

The Nigeria international is expected to keep his time in the team for the time being but Terim will be working closely with him to aid get him over this rough patch.
