Everton star Romelu Lukaku has been closely linked with a return to Chelsea. The Metro report that Antonio Conte wants the striker back at the club and interestingly the Belgium international recently picked a side dominated by Chelsea players in his five-a-side dream team.
Lukaku told the official Premier League website that he would have Blues keeper Thibaut Courtois in goal, John Terry and Vincent Kompany in defence while Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba would lead his attack.
“And the main man [Drogba]. The game-winner, game changer. He used to win games whenever we were in trouble,” Lukaku stated.
Four out of Lukaku’s five picks were Chelsea players – past and present. Drogba and Lampard no long play for the Blues.
Lampard has retired from football while Drogba is approaching the end of his career.
The former Ivory Coast striker won four Premier League titles at Chelsea and helped guide the Blues to their first Champions League trophy.
Drogba is also a fan favourite among Galatasaray fans where he won the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup and Turkish Super Cup while also enjoying an impressive Champions League run.
Lukaku has been in great form for Everton this season and despite being only 23 he already has 76 goals in the Premier League.
The powerful striker was a Blues player from 2011 until 2014, when he joined Everton on a permanent transfer after spending the previous season on loan at the Toffees.
Despite being an Everton player for the past few seasons, Lukaku did not pick any of his current teammates in his five-a-side team.
Lukaku already has netted 16 times – the top goal scorer in the Premier League – and has four assists for Everton this season.
The 23-year-old’s current Everton contract runs until summer, 2019.
Everton are currently seventh in the Premier League on 40 points and have scored 40 goals this season.
