‘We’re having conversations’ -Man United boss confirms talks with 28-goal striker
Manchester United are in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the striker signing a new deal.
United manager Jose Mourinho confirmed ‘conversations’ are ongoing with the experienced striker.
Mourinho was quoted by the Mirror as saying: “You know he’s injured, he needs time to recover, he’s not ready to play.
“It’s not something urgent, that we are desperate to have it done or not done, I just think that he was very clear by showing what he did last year was not enough for him.
“He thinks he can do more and wants more at the highest level, so we’re having conversations and we’re discussing the possibility of him to stay with us for the second part of the season.”

Per the source, the Lions are prepared to offer a one year deal with the option to extend.
Ibrahimovic is a free agent after United decided not to offer a new deal at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old is recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury and is not expected to return until the end of the year.
Ibrahimovic netted 28 times and provided 10 assists in 46 games for the United last season.
