Crystal Palace Eye Fenerbahce Right-Back

Crystal Palace are looking to swoop for Fenerbahce right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel, putting them ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United in the race for the Nigerian defender according to TEAMtalk.

The 25-year-old, known for his solid and attacking play, has impressed Eagles scouts with his performances this season, helping Fenerbahçe climb to the top of the Süper Lig and top their Europa Conference League group.

Osayi-Samuel also played a key role in their Turkish Cup triumph last season.

His contract expiring in June 2025 further sweetens the deal for Palace, with the hope of securing him for a potentially reduced price.

Fenerbahce have yet to agree to a contract extension so a January or end of season move could be on the cards if the club want to avoid losing the right-back for free.

However, competition is fierce with both Wolves and Leeds also keeping tabs on the versatile full-back.

Osayi-Samuel began his career in England with Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers, before embarking on a successful stint in Turkey.

He’s no stranger to the English game and could be a valuable addition to Palace’s squad, offering depth and quality at right-back.

The race for Osayi-Samuel is heating up, and with the January transfer window approaching, the battle for his signature promises to be exciting. Can Palace lure him back to England or will Wolves or Leeds steal the prize?
