Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji has attracted growing interest over the summer transfer window.

Mbdodji’s representative in Turkey, Saffet Balkan, has revealed that Fulham and Crystal Palace did make an approach for the Senegal international.

The Premier League duo are running out of time and Balkan does not see him moving to England unless there is a last-ditch formal offer.

Galatasaray do however, have more time to complete a move for the 28-year-old.

The Super Lig transfer window runs until the end of the month.

The Istanbul giants are keen on the defender but would need to sell a player in order to sign Mbodji to stay compliant with the agreement the club have with Financial Fair Play.

The defender is back to full fitness after missing the World Cup due to a knee injury.

The Belgium giants are ready to part ways with Mbdoji as he is not longer part of head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s plans.

The versatile defender can also play as a defensive midfielder and was part of the Anderlecht side that won the title in 2017.

Mbodji moved to Belgium from Tromso in Norway, after completing his transfer to Genk in 2013.

Anderlecht snapped him up two-years later after impressing in the Belgium top-tier.
