Crystal Palace have stepped up their efforts to sign Fenerbahce star midfielder Josef de Souza.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move away from the Yellow Canaries after entering the final 12 months of his contract.

According to the Turkish outlet Star, Palace have tabled a £10 million offer De Souza.

Per the source, Fenerbahce may be forced into selling the Brazil international due to their precarious financial position. The Istanbul giants are currently being closely monitored by UEFA for financial fair play (FFP).

The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce do not want to risk losing De Souza on a free next summer.

De Souza was previously closely linked with a move to West Brom while Watford have also expressed an interest in the 29-year-old.
