Crystal Palace star midfielder offered to Turkish giants

Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye has been offered to the Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas, according to the Turkish outlet Fotospor.

Per the source, Demba Ba – who previously played for Besiktas – is trying to broker a move between his close friend Cabaye and the reigning Turkish champions.

The report goes onto say that Demba Ba has met with both Cabaye and Besiktas. However, Fotomac also state that official talks will only begin if Crystal Palace are relegated form the Premier League.

Palace are currently one spot above the drop zone with 25 points after 27 games.

Cabaye made the move to Palace from Paris Saint German back in 2015 for £10 million (BBC).

The France international previously played for Newcastle in the Premier League. Cabaye – who has over a year remaining on his contract – has provided two assists and two goals in 27 apperances this season.

Palace recorded a 2-0 victory over West Brom on Saturday and take on Watford FC this weekend.
