Crystal Palace Reveal Squad Ahead Of Liverpool Clash – Erdal Rakip Hoping For Debut

Crystal Palace take on Liverpool in their first game back after the international break at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson will be sweating over the fitness of three players heading into the clash.

Wilfried Zaha, Alexander Sorloth and James Tomkins all hope to return against the Reds but face a race against time.

Zaha did not train over the international break due to his knee problem, while Sorloth has been recovering from a hamstring injury.

Tomkins meanwhile has returned from a calf issue.

The Reds could be without Mamadou Sakho who has a calf problem.

Hodgson still has an extensive injury crisis with Joel Ward, Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon, Bakary Sako and Connor Wickham all out injured.

Midfieler of Turkish origin Erdal Rakip who is on loan from Benfica has made the squad and will be hoping to make his debut.

Despite the injury crisis, Rakip has not received any playing time for the first team since joining the Eagles.

The 22-year-old is eligible to represent Sweden, Turkey and Macedonia at international level.
