Oumar Niassi came close to leaving Everton over the summer transfer window.

However, the deal fell through after the Eagles were unable to agree a fee with the player’s agent.

Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce appear to be Niasse’s only chance of playing first-team football this season.

Fener are interested in signing the 27-year-old on a 12-month loan deal.

Fanatik claim that Fenerbahce have tabled a €2 million offer to sign Niasse on loan. Per the source, the Istanbul giants also want to include an option-to-buy within the deal.

Niasse is no stranger to the playing in Turkey. The 27-year-old spent two seasons playing for Akhisar Belediyespor.
