Crystal Palace Want €20m For Benteke, Agent Opens Up About Besiktas Move

Crystal Palace are willing to sell Christian Benteke but want at least €20 million claims the striker’s agent Eris Kismet.

Speaking to Fanatik, Kismet opened up about interest from Besiktas including a reported bid.

The agent confirmed Besiktas interest but stated that he does not think the Istanbul giants would be able to afford him.

The only way Kismet sees the transfer going ahead is a loan move.

“I know Besiktas are interested in Benteke,” Kismet said.

“I know Fikret Orman in person, he’s a great guy and he has told me he is interested in Benteke.

“But his price may be out of range.

“What I can say is that Crystal Palace won’t sell him for under €20 million.

“A loan? well that could be possible but contrary to reports I have not been contacted about one.”

Benteke struggled at Palace this season scoring just three goals in the Premier League.

The powerful striker was left out of the Belgium World Cup squad as a result of his poor form.

Besiktas are keen on a new striker to replace Cenk Tosun who joined Everton in January.

The Black Eagles finished last season in fourth-place after cruising through the Champions League group stage as undefeated leaders.
