Crystal Palace & West Brom dealt major transfer blow as Euro giants join race to sign Everton star

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray has joined Crystal Palace and West Brom in the race to sign Everton’s Oumar Niasse.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, the Lions have already established communication with Niasse’s agent.

The report goes on to state that Niasse would prefer a move to the Turkish side over Crystal Palace and West Brom.

Niasse is, of course, no stranger to the Turkish Super Lig after spending two years at Akhisar Belediyespor.

Both West Brom’s Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace’s Roy Hodgson are hoping to bolster their attacking options over the January transfer window. However, they look set to miss out on Niasse.

Galatasaray are looking to bring in a striker who can partner Bafatemi Gomis up-front.

Per the source, the Lions are hoping to sign Niasse on a loan deal with an option to buy included.

Niasse racked up three assists and nine goals for Everton in all competitions this season.
