Czech legend trying to broker deal between Man City and Euro Giants over £28m Wilfried Bony

The former Czech Republic international Tomas Ujfalusi has joined negotiations between Man City and Galatasaray regarding Wilfried Bony.

According to Fotomac, Ujfalusi flew to Istanbul earlier this week to hold talks with Galatasaray before meeting Bony’s agent Dalibor Lacina.

Per the source, Ujfalusi has a strong relationship with Lacina and has worked with him on transfers in the past.

Ujfalusi is a firm favourite among Galatasaray fans following the three seasons he spent at the club. The former Czech Republic international was also previously appointed as Galatasaray’s director of football.

Galatasaray are hoping Ujfalusi and his contacts within the game can help bring Bony to Istanbul this summer.

Turkish-Football previously revealed that Galatasaray officials will fly to England in the near future to hold advanced talks with City.

The Istanbul giants want to loan Bony for a season with an option to buy included within the deal.

Bony joined Man City from Swansea City for a lofty £28 million back in January 2015 (BBC).

Bony is currently on loan at Stoke City. He has scored two goals in 11 apperances for the Potters this season. The Ivory Coast international has two years left on his current deal with City.
