Arsenal suffered a shock 2-1 defeat against Brighton at the AMEX Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League.
The Gunners have now lost their last three successive games in all competitions.
The defeat dented the chances the North London based outfit have of breaking into the top-four for a Champions League finish.
Arsenal are now 13 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
Mesut Ozil started for the Gunners but was unable to score or provide an assist yet again.
