Arsenal recently lost star man Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United and Mesut Ozil could end up joining him according to the latest transfer rumors.
Ozil has been in great form for the Gunners but the problem is he will be a free agent at the end of the season.
The Gunners will have to strike a contract extension with the playmaker of Turkish origin is they want to keep him on beyond the end of the current campaign.
Should the North London outfit fail to keep star players at the club it could result in the club being left behind according to legendary goalkeeper David Seaman told talkSPORT.

Seaman said: “It’s important for the club to stabilise this sort of thing. It gets even worst next year.
“The sad part is we’ve lost a quality player in Alexis Sanchez, and we don’t need that to carry on.
“We want to get these guys signed up, get that all sorted out and then try and move on.
“We do need to move one because we’re getting a little bit left behind.”
Jack Wilshere and Ozil are yet to commit to new contracts.
Meanwhile Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud, Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck will be free agents in the summer of 2019.
Ozil has picked up Arsenal player of the month awards for the past November and December.
The 29-year-old has been in great form in January as well putting in a stellar display in the 4-1 win against Crystal Palace and the 2-1 League Cup victory over rivals Chelsea on Wednesday.
The 2014 World Cup winner has yet to reveal whether he will stay on at Arsenal or leave at the end of the season.
Ozil is however, expected to stay at the club over the winter transfer window.
