The Turkish giants have been closely linked with a move for the Belgium international over the past week.
The Spanish outlet Marca have linked Sevilla with a £10m move for Boyatta.
However, the transfer saga appears to have taken a new twist.
Despite being criticised by manager Brendan Rodgers and entering the final 12-months of his contract, Boyatta has been included in Celtic’s starting XI today.
