Derby County Ace On Verge Of Summer Exit After Club ‘Agree Deal’ With The Rams

Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe have agreed to sign Derby County striker Cameron Jerome.

According to the daily Turkish newspaper HaberTurk, Goztepe have struck a deal to sign Jerome on a season-long loan deal.

Per the source, Jerome will travel to Turkey this week to complete his move to Goztepe.

Financial details of the transfer have not been disclosed.

Cameron Jerome was a key member of Derby City’s side last season. The 32-year-old provided three assists and scored eight goals in 37 appearances for the Championship side.

The striker has however slipped down the pecking order this term and is yet to make an appearance for Derby.

Derby registered a 4-0 League Cup win over Hull City earlier this week and take the Tigers on again this weekend in the League.

Meanwhile, Goztepe pulled off the upset of the week with a 1-0 in over Fenerbahce on Saturday.

Jerome could make his debut against Kayserispor next weekend.
