Leicester ended up promoting Soyuncu who had fallen behind in the pecking order last season.

Soyuncu put on another impressive display against Spurs and even ended up getting praised by one of Leicester City’s most famous fans, Gary Lineker.

Lineker made a frank statement regarding the Foxes decision to not reinvest the fee from the sale of Maguire.

The BBC Match of the Day pundit revealed that Leicester did not need a replacement because of how good Soyuncu is.

Soyuncu also took to Twitter following the win over Tottenham to tweet ‘spectacular comeback’ before congratulating his teammates.
