Crystal Palace signed Erdal Rakip on loan from Benfica until the end of the season over the winter transfer window.

Further details regarding the deal have been revealed that make the transfer seem pretty bizarre, from a Benfica perspective anyway.

The Portuguese giants reportedly agreed to loan a player they just signed as a free agent and include a €10 million buyout clause option.
