Arsenal managed to turn around their 3-1 first-leg defeat to Rennes in the Europa League Last 16 clash in France with a 3-0 win at the Emirates on Thursday.
Mesut Ozil started for the Gunners just days after featuring in the starting lineup against Manchester United in the Premier League.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has won back the trust of Unai Emery after struggling for playing time in 2019.
Ozil responded to the victory over Rennes by highlighting just how impressive the comeback was considering what a difficult week the team have had.
Great comeback from the team! ??? Difficult week for us, but we showed good character and determination to reach the #UEL quarters! ??? #WeAreTheArsenal #YaGunnersYa #M1Ö pic.twitter.com/wdea1a3JkH
