Dirk Kuyt pleased with maintaining unbeaten home record [divider]
Dirk Kuyt revealed that he was pleased with Fenerbahçe maintaining their unbeaten home record following the 2-2 draw against Eskişehirspor.
“It is always disappointing when you leave your own stadium without a win,” Kuyt said.
“We did not play well in the first half but we showed our spirit in the second half and fought hard for the equaliser.
“This was by no means our best performance but we still fought tooth and nail to stay in the game.
“We wanted that equaliser but when we went down to 10 men five minutes before the end of the match it made things even more difficult.
“I do not want to comment on the red card I do not know what happened but at least we maintained our unbeaten home record.
“We have not lost here in a long time, ok we drew 2-2 but a draw is much better than a loss.”
Fenerbahçe have won five games and drawn one at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium this season.
