Liverpool take on Roma in the Champions League semi-final first-leg clash at Anfield stadium on Tuesday.
The return-leg will be played the following week in Rome and will probably be a night to remember but Reds fans are not too happy about the ticket prices.
The traveling fans have been allocated 5,000 tickets but Liverpool supporters are being charged £73 to watch the game.
We took a look at how fans have been reacting to the ticketing updates on social media.
There was as expected rage at what was described by some as being ‘eye watering’ prices in the lead up to the semi final return leg.
Roma charging the 5,000 travelling #lfc fans an eye-watering £73 per ticket @UEFA @LFC @ASRomaEN //t.co/2Nour0haWA

Rightly all fans are pleased that we are in a European Cup Semi-Final.
However the price that Roma are charging for tickets is appalling. It’s a clear case of hiking the price to monetise our loyal support.

Reaching this stage of the competition will net clubs tens of millions, giving plenty of reasons to not up prices as they have done.
We would welcome @ASRomaEN justifying their prices?

Liverpool given 5,000 tickets for Roma away in the CL semi. £73 each.
Chelsea fans were charged £44.50.
I had a quick look, and saw tickets for their next game is €20 Euros.

@ChampionsLeague @UEFA Roma vs Liverpool tickets £73 each! #Disgusting For that price I’d be expecting a guided tour of the Colosseum and slap up meal in a top restaurant to be thrown in!

5,000 allocation at £73 is a clear abuse of power by @ASRomaEN for the 2nd leg tie at the Stadio Olimpico. This is the price @LFC fans are being forced to pay, compared to £44 earlier on in the season when Chelsea travelled to Roma. Let’s see if @UEFA take action.

Not everyone thought the prices were ‘eye-watering’. After all you can find similar prices in the Premier League and FA Cup games at times. Is it fair for a semi-final game in the Champions League?
Eye watering really for CL semi!! Get real

That’s cheap for a Champions League Semi Final. Leeds United are charging Barnsley fans £39 on Saturday at Elland Road!

How is this eye watering? Some FA cup semi final tickets more expensive and this is the best club football tournament in the world! Why do football fans think all ticks should be 20 quid. This is elite sport not non league, stay at home and watch it on sky then

Tickets for Liverpool vs United in Michigan are 2000$.. for a friendly match… complain about that
