Neven Subotic: Dominant in the air and was a threat from set pieces (7/10)
Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Marked Umut Bulut well and got on the scoresheet at the other end. Man of the match. (9/10)
Erik Durm: Like Piszczek he didn’t venture forward but was defensively sound. (6/10)
Sven Bender:Despite receiving an early yellow the Germany international was rock solid and broke up the majority of Galatasaray’s attacks. (8/10)
Sebastian Kehl: Played a disciplined role in midfield and helped Dortmund control the midfield. (7/10)
Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Not as effective as he was in the game in Istanbul. (5/10)
Shinji Kagawa: Wasteful in possession, taken off after 60 minutes (5/10)
Marco Reus: Cooly finished off his chance to break the deadlock. (7/10)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Galatasaray once again struggled to deal with his pace. (7/10)

Fernando Muslera: A poor performance from the Uruguayan international on the night. Could of done better on Immobile’s goal. (4/10)
Tarik Camdal: Often caught out of position and looked to be out his depth. (4/10)
Aurelien Chedjou: Solid display from the Cameroon international who made several key interceptions and blocks. (7/10)
Semih Kaya: A night to forget for Semih who was poor in the air and struggled to deal with Dortmund’s movement. The Turkish international capped off a poor display with an own goal. (3/10)
Hakan Balta: Delivery into the box was very poor but he took his goal well to make it 2-1. (5/10)
Blerim Dzemaili: Hard working but wasteful in possession. (4/10)
Hamit Altintop: Worked hard but was at fault for Immobile’s goal. (4/10)
Felipe Melo: Combative display from the tenacious midfielder who made several key interceptions. (6/10)
Selcuk Inan: A bad night for the Galatasaray caption who was busy either gifting the ball away or being caught in possession. (4/10)
Wesley Sneijder: Kept quiet by Dortmund but was Galatasaray’s only meaningful threat on the night. Delivered a great cross from a corner for his sides goal. (6/10)
