Liverpool take on Roma in the Champions League semi-final first leg clash at Anfield on Tuesday.
One player who knows Roma and Liverpool inside out is Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international joined the Reds from Roma over the summer scoring an astounding 40 goals and 13 assists in all competitions this season.
Roma striker Edin Dzeko waxed lyrical about his former teammate in an interview with BBC Sport but revealed he text Salah, asking him to have an off day when the two sides meet on Tuesday.

“I just told him we are going to see each other in the semis and that I wish him to score to break the Premier League record but, in the semis, he can rest a little bit,” Dzeko told BBC Sport.
“It’s such a shame that he left [Roma].
“I talked with him about his past when he was playing at Chelsea, obviously he was much younger and you know the Premier League is not the easiest league in the world.
“I think Italy did will for him because he played like three years here, he scored a lot of goals and he learned a lot here.”
Salah started for the Reds in their 2-2 draw on the road against West Brom in the Premier League.
The in-form forward is expected to start against Roma.
Salah’s replacement at the Giallorossi, Cengiz Under was rested against SPAL on Saturday after making his first start in four games on Wednesday against Genoa.
Under scored in the 2-1 victory over Genoa taking his season tally to seven goals and two assists in all competitions.
Roma will be play their third game in six days when they take on Liverpool on Tuesday.
