Aktürkoğlu spoke ahead of Galatasaray’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The star talked about his goals for the club and national team, as well as a potential transfer abroad.
Aktürkoğlu is reportedly on the radar of many teams from Europe, including Roma, Bayern, and other Bundesliga clubs since 2021. In recent weeks, Tottenham Hotspur from the Premier League has also been rumored to be interested.
The Turkish international, who is under contract with Galatasaray until 2026, had the following to say about his future.
“Of course, I think about my future. Regarding transfers abroad, taking on new tasks and playing in other leagues does excite me. I am aware of the interest from other clubs and I am flattered by it. If a good offer comes in, I will consider it, but my priority is to stay at Galatasaray and help the team win trophies,” he said.
Aktürkoğlu’s rapid rise in recent years has been nothing short of remarkable. He has become one of the most important players for Galatasaray and the Turkish national team, and his market value is only set to increase further in the coming years.
The Turkish international has seen his market value increase from €200,000 to €17m in the last three years, making him the Super Lig player who has increased in value the most during that time.
The winger is in great form with 19 assists in 39 matches since January 2023. The 25-year-old star proved his quality and class once again with the goal he scored at Old Trafford recently in the Champions League.
