Galatasaray take on Karabukspor in their opening game of the Super Lig season and Portuguese sensation Bruma is set to start.
Manchester United have been closely linked with Bruma and Jose Mourinho recently ordered his scouts to keep tabs on the youngster.
Mourinho was impressed with the 21-year-old during the Red Devils 5-2 victory over the Lions in a pre-season friendly in Sweden.
Bruma scored his sixth goal in five friendly games against United despite Galatasaray losing the pre-season clash in Sweden 5-2.
The Portugal international told reporters in the mixed zone after the game that Mourinho had a brief meeting with him.
“He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me,” Bruma said. “He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.
“Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season.”
Galatasaray are determined to keep hold of the Portugal international winger a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com and they value the young winger as being worth €25 million.
Bruma will more than likely stay at Galatasaray this season and the Istanbul giants did recently turn down a deal from PSV.
PSV sporting director Marcel Brands revealed that the club is no longer in the race to sign the 21-year-old.
