Galatasaray striker Fernando Muslera has denied receiving any official bids and underlined that he wants to stay at the club in an interview with Fanatik.
“I have not received any direct offers and I am focused on Galatasaray, nobody at the club has said they want to sell me either,” Muslera said.
Turkish newspaper Vatan reported that Manchester United are preparing an audacious €35 million bid for Muslera.
The report claims that United will make an official bid should David de Gea part ways with the club over the summer.
Galatasaray had previously stated that they would not consider bids below €20 million for the Uruguayan keeper and would be forced to listen to a €35 million offer due to the clubs current financial situation.
Muslera played a key role in the Lions winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.
The Uruguayan international keeper kept five consecutive clean sheets – all of which ended in victories – at the most critical stage in the season.
