Emenike revealed that he believes Fenerbahçe have what it takes to retain the league title.
“It was a sweet victory for the team, we showed great team spirit which is good for us as champions,” Emenike told AfricanFootball.com.
“Every game is important for us to retain the league title, this is the best time for me and the entire team to keep working hard because this is the toughest time in the season and we must always be ready to conquer.
Emenike has struggled for goals this season but has improved recently scoring twice in his last two league games.
Fenerbahçe have scored a total of nine goals in their last two Süper Lig outings, only Mersin have a better scoring record over the same time period (10).
The Yellow Canaries are currently second in the Süper Lig on 45 points after 20 games this season.
