Emre Belozoglu Set To Complete Fenerbahce Move After Undergoing Medical

Fenerbahce are set to complete the signing of Emre Belozoglu next week once he returns to Istanbul and undergoes his medical.

Anadolu Ajans reporter Hilmi Sever revealed that Belozoglu has already agreed terms with Fenerbahce and will complete his move to the Super Lig giants on 1 July after undergoing his medical.

Belozoglu spent last season at Basaksehir where he helped guide the Istanbul minnows to a shock runners-up finish.

The experienced midfielder wants to spend his final season before retiring at the Yellow Canaries.

Despite initially making a name for himself at Galatasaray winning three Super Lig titles, two Turkish Cups, on UEFA Cup and one UEFA Super Cup by the age of 21.

After spells at Inter and Newcastle he returned to Turkey in 2008 for rivals Fenerbahce – the team he supported as a child.

The 38-year-old has won two Super Lig championships, two Turkish Cup trophies and two Super Cup titles as a Fenerbahce player.
