Emre Can started for Liverpool in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham at Anfield today.
The 22-year-old was used as a defender during the week for Germany however, Jurgen Klopp moved Can backed to his favoured defensive midfield role.
Can received a rating of 6.25 from WhoScored for his performance and was the lowest rated Liverpool player on the day.
The Germany international made two interceptions and one tackle. Can maintained a passing accuracy of just 68% and failed to make an accurate cross.
Coutinho put the Red’s ahead in the 51st minute but Jurgen Klopp’s side were only able to hold the lead for 12 minutes.
Harry Kane levelled the score for the visitors in the 63rd minute. Emre Can received a yellow card one minute later for a trip.
Liverpool remain in ninth place with 45 points in 30 games following todays draw. Tottenham could drop two more points behind league leaders Leicester City if they defeat Southampton tomorrow.
