Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has praised his teammates Emre Can and Lazar Markovic for their recent performances and settling in quickly to Premier League football.
“Lads like [Lazar] Markovic and [Emre] Can have been playing brilliant,” Lallana told the official Liverpool website.
“They are both kids, 20 and 21, so of course coming to a big club was always going to take a bit of time.”

Can joined Liverpool on a £9.75 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
The 21-year-old struggled for playing time initially due to a string of injuries but has now established himself as a first-team regular.
Can was probably not expecting to become a first choice defender for the Reds as he signed as a central midfielder but he has adapted well to his new position.
The former Bayer man has started the last seven Premier League games as a defender.
Can has a total of one goal and one assists in 24 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
The 21-year-old is expected to make his eight consecutive start for Liverpool against Southampton in the Premier League today.
Liverpool are currently in 7th place but could move into 6th with a win against the Saints.
