Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will be hoping to return to the starting line-up against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

The 20-year-old midfielder has not received any playing time in the Reds last four Premier League games since a strong performance against Chelsea a month ago.

Adam Lallana praised Can following his performance against Chelsea last month.

“I think Emre showed in the Chelsea game that one of his big qualities is driving forward with the ball and shooting,” Lallana was quoted as saying on #LFCWORLD.

“He’s a strong player, a good tackler, he’s got a great engine. He can play a few positions as well, so he’s going to be a great player for Liverpool moving forward.”

Can has only played 16 minutes in Liverpool’s last seven games in all competition.

The 20-year-old moved to Liverpool on a £9.75m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
