Liverpool star Emre Can has revealed that he still cannot believe his side booked a place in the Europa League semi-finals.
The Reds came from two goals behind to eventually win the game with a last-gasp goal from James Milner in the first minute of additional time to knock Borussia Dortmund out of the tournament 5-4 on aggregate.
Speaking to Turkish reporters after the game Can said: “I still cannot believe Liverpool made it. I do not think we played bad in the first half but we knew at half-time that we had to make a stand and you all saw what happened it was incredible.”
The victory over Dortmund will have to probably go down as one of the best comebacks ever to have taken place at Anfield.
Can provided an assist for Origi’s goal early in the second half that resulted in Liverpool clawing their way back into the game.
The Germany international of Turkish origin made a driving run down the centre of the pitch into the Dortmund final third before a well timed pass to Origi.

The 22-year-old midfielder now has two goals and three assists in all competitions for the Reds this season.
Can will miss the Reds Premier League clash against Bournemouth on the weekend due to serving the second of his two-match suspension.
