Liverpool’s Emre Can reflects on his goal against Chelsea

Emre Can has spoken to Liverpoolfc.com about his goal against Chelsea ahead of the Carlin Cup clash tonight.
The 21-year-old scored his first goal for Liverpool against Chelsea when the two sides met back in November.
Can scored Liverpool’s only goal in their 2-1 defeat against the Blues that day.
Liverpool host Chelsea at Anfield for the first leg of of the Carlin Cup semi final at 19:45 GMT.
“It was incredible, you can’t describe it,” Can told Liverpoolfc.com reflecting on the emotion of that goal.
“I scored the goal and I think it’s the best feeling as a player you could ever have.
“To be honest I was thinking about this in the car the other day; I scored the goal against Chelsea and it would be great to repeat that again this time, but the most important thing is to beat them.
“Hopefully we will do that – we will give everything in this cup tie.”
Can also talked about his dream of playing a final at Wembley.
“I have had the fortune to be at Wembley once before,” he explained. “I didn’t play myself but I watched Bayern against Dortmund [2013 Champions League final].
“It’s an incredible stadium and I want to play there. I hope we can get there by winning the semi-final.”
Liverpool have won five and drawn two of their last seven fixtures in all competitions, with the 21-year-old playing some part in all but one of those games.
Can joined the Reds on a £9.75 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
The 21-year-old has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season.
