Juventus midfielder Emre Can is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester United following contact being made with his representatives.
Tuttosport report that Can is keen on returning to the Premier League to join United.
The midfielder of Turkish origin moved to Italy in 2018 on a free transfer but it appears Maurizio Sarri does not have plans for Can who has made just three substitute appearances in Serie A this term.
Per the source, Can’s representatives have made contact with various clubs across Europe but that United would be his preferred destination.
Can made it clear that he is not happy about the current situation earlier this month.
The midfielder left Liverpool in 2018 on a free transfer after running down his contract citing a desire to win the Champions League with Juventus – who he felt had more of a chance of winning silverware than Liverpool.
“I lost the Champions League Final against Cristiano Ronaldo last season,” he told Sky Sport Italia ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
“This season, I want to win it with him.”
Ironically, Liverpool won the Champions League last term not Juventus.
The 25-year-old was also left out of Juventus’ Champions League squad this season.
“The fact that I am not in the Champions League squad is extremely shocking for me, mainly because I was promised something different last week. There were talks with other clubs [before the transfer window closed] and one of the conditions for me to stay was to be part of the Champions League squad,” he was quoted as saying after being left out of the squad.
Can apologized via Twitter soon after.

Can has another three-years remaining on his current Juventus deal but it appears unlikely that he will see out his contract.
