Enes Unal Last-Minute Heroics Rescue Point For Bournemouth

Bournemouth snatched a dramatic point in their fight against relegation thanks to Enes Unal’s stoppage-time equalizer against Sheffield United in the Premier League.

The Turkish striker, on loan from Getafe, scored his first goal for the Cherries in the first minute of added time, canceling out Sheffield United’s 2-0 lead.

Unal ended up scoring his first goal for his new club in the process in dramatic fashion. The Turkish international has now made six appearances for the Cherries.

The Blades, much improved from their recent defeat to Arsenal, took the lead through Gustavo Hamer in the first half after capitalizing on a parry from Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto. Dominic Solanke missed a penalty for the Cherries earlier, slipping as he took the shot.

Sheffield United doubled their lead midway through the second half when a Neto punch from a corner ended up in Jack Robinson’s path, who slotted the ball home.

Solanke had a goal disallowed for handball before Dango Ouattara’s header ignited a comeback for Bournemouth. Unal’s dramatic equalizer in the dying moments earned the Cherries a crucial point.

Despite the draw, Sheffield United remain in the relegation zone, while Bournemouth’s fight for survival continues.
