England Midfielder Demands €6m Sign-On Fee After Leaving Arsenal, Rejects Several Offers For Move Abroad

Jack Wilshere parted ways with Arsenal as a free agent on 1 July 2018 after spending 17 years at the club.

Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac report that Wilshere has turned down several offers to join Fenerbahce.

Per the source, the England midfielder has already packed his suitcase and is ready to make the move.

Wilshere has reportedly shook hands with Fenerbahce on everything except his sign-on fee.

The 26-year-old is demanding a €6m fee, the Yellow Canaries have yet to agree but they are expected to reach a compromise.

The Istanbul based outfit have made it clear they will not offer over €4 million.

Wilshere has admitted that he would consider playing abroad.

Speaking to Sky Sports News after filming A League of Your Own, Wilshere said: “I am willing to go abroad if the right opportunity comes up. Also, everyone knows I like the Premier League and the battle of it.”

The 26-year-old stands to make in the region of €4 million-per-season at Fenerbahce if he does end up completing the move according to ESPN.
Wilshere would also play abroad for the first time in his career if the transfer goes ahead.
The midfielder scored 14 times and provided 30 assists for Arsenal in 198 appearances across all competitions.
