Erkan Zengin: “I want to play for Fenerbahçe”
Eskisehirspor winger Erkan Zengin has stated that he wants to move to Fenerbahçe.
The Super League club have recieved offers from both Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe, but have only accepted the Black Sea based sides bid.
“I have a letter from Eskişehirspor stating that I can meet with any club until January 12,” Zengin stated.
“I have met with Fenerbahce and have agreed a deal. I have sold my house in Eskişehir and have said farewell to my friends there.
“I later received a phone call stating that Eskişehirspor had paid my wages and that I was still contracted to the club. I want my club to accept the bid from Fenerbahçe.
“I would like to thank the other teams for their interest, but I want to play for Fenerbahçe.
“Eskişehirspor have gone back on their promises, I will not return there.”
Zengin has two and a half years remaining on this contract.
The Swedish international of Turkish origin joined EsEs in 2010 and has 29 goals as well as 33 assists in 171 appearances for the Süper Lig outfit.
