Ersun Yanal has reportedly agreed a €2 million deal with Trabzonspor to take over from Vahid Halilhodzic.
The Trabzonspor hierarchy were angered by the comments of Halilhodzic leading up to the Lokeren game.
The experienced Bosnian manager said, “Neither Constant or Cardozo were first team players at their former clubs. They were not my first choices.”
Halilhodzic was also sent off during Trabzonspor’s 1-1 draw with Lokeren in the Europa League.
However, the situation at Trabzonspor is still unclear as the club are yet to release a statement confirming the rumours in the media are true.
Ersun Yanal won the Turkish Super League with Fenerbahce last season.
