Ersun Yanal is set to be appointed as Trabzonspor manager in place of the outgoing Vahid Halilhodzic.
The Black Sea based side who agreed a €1.6 million severance deal with Halilhodzic have turned their attention towards Fenerbahce’s former manager Yanal.
Yanal is on the verge of signing a 1.5 year deal with Trabzonspor and is expected to take first team training on Wednesday.
The contract is believed to be worth in the region of €2 million.
The 52-year-old’s first game in charge (if appointed) will be against rivals Galatasaray in Istanbul.
Yanal won the Turkish Super League with Fenerbahce and has previously managed Trabzonspor from 2007-2009.
