Eskişehirspor deny Ertuğrul Sağlam resignation [divider]
Eskişehirspor press officer Fatih Sezer has revealed that Ertuğrul Sağlam is still manager of the club.
“Sağlam was emotional after the game and said he quit,” Sezer said.
“However, he did not hand in his formal notice and our president Mesut Hoşcan did not want him to leave.
“We do not want Sağlam to resign and have total faith in him.
“He wants the best for the club, he wants to take us to new heights and will fight on.
“We want to carry on with Ertuğrul in charge and get over this rather unlucky stretch we find ourselves in.”
Eskişehirspor are currently in 15th place and have only secured one win this season.
Sağlam was appointed as manager of Eskişehirspor this summer.
Bursaspor became the second Turkish team outside of Istanbul to win the Turkish Süper Lig when they lifted the title in 2010-11 under the guidance of Sağlam.
