Euro giants await €20m bid for Newcastle United & West Ham target following stunning season

Newcastle United will have to table an improved bid for Garry Rodrigues this summer if they are to land their long-term target.

The Magpies had a €8 million bid for Rodrigues rejected over the January transfer window.

According to the Turkish outlet SporX, Galatasaray are awaiting bids in the region of €20 million from Premier League clubs this summer.

The Cape Verde international’s stock has risen following an impressive run of form.

Per the source Bundesliga giants, Schalke 04 also had a bid turned down for Rodrigues in January.

Meanwhile, West Ham United have also been linked with a move for the pacy winger in recent months.

Galatasaray sold their star midfielder Badou Ndiaye to Stoke City for €16 million in January.

Rodrigues has scored six goals and provided nine assists in 26 Turkish Super Lig competitions so far this season. The Lions are back in action this weekend when they take on Genclerbirligi.

Meanwhile, Newcastle continues their preparations for this weekend’s trip to Anfield to face an in-form Liverpool.
