The €25 million fee will stretch the Black Eagles budget but the club are factoring in that Talisca has already settled in and is in great form.

Talisca joined Besiktas on a two-year loan from Benfica over the summer but he also has attracted interest from England.

Turkish-Football recently reported that Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Talisca who they narrowly missed out on signing over the summer.

Tailrace’s transfer to Liverpool reportedly broke down after he failed to get hold of a work permit to play in the Premier League according to O Jogo.

Talisca already has nine goals and three assists in all competitions for Besiktas. The Brazilian star has netted seven times and provided two assists in 12 league games.

The powerful attacking midfielder has established himself as one of the best performing players in the league.

Whoscored currently rate Talisca as being the 5th best performing player – statistically – in the Turkish league.
