Fenerbahce have made progress in negotiations with Chelsea over the transfer of Marco van Ginkel.
The Yellow Canaries have been closely linked with a move for the 25-year-old midfielder over recent weeks.
Van Ginkel is expected to leave Chelsea on loan once again this summer after failing to break into Antonio Conte’s squad.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Fenerbahce ‘s director of football Damien Comolli has been in talks with the London based club.
Per the source, Comolli has held successful negotiations with Chelsea and there only remains one sticking point. Fenerbahce wants to include an option to buy Van Ginkel within the deal but are yet to agree the fee with Chelsea.
The Netherlands international has spent the last four seasons out on loan at AC Milan, Stoke City and PSV.
Van Ginkel provided five assists and scored 16 goals in 33 appearances for PSV this season.
