Euro giants have ‘right to first refusal’ for £21m Man United target Talisca who has 16-goals this season
Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has revealed his side have the ‘right to first refusal’ on Anderson Talisca.
The 23-year-old is on loan at Besiktas from Benfica but the Black Eagles do have the option to extend his stay by another season.
Talisca does however, have a £21 million release clause option which could cut his loan deal short.
Cebi moved to clear up rumours regarding Talisca’s future in a press conference today following head coach Senol Gunes signing a contract extension.
“Besiktas have the right of first refusal on Talisca. We can match the proposed fee and buy him if it is reasonable,” Cebi was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“If Benfica receive an offer they have to inform us and we have the right to match and sign him for that fee.
“Talisca does have another year on his contract and he does want to stay but as you know he has a €25 million [£25m] which we can’t match.”

Talisca has attracted widespread interest after an impressive season for Besiktas scoring 16 goals and providing four assists.
Turkish-Football have reported that Manchester United have been scouting the powerful attacking midfielder.
The Hurriyet revealed today that Monaco have also joined the race for Talisca.
Radyospor host Levent Umut Erol claims that United have made an offer to Benfica for Talisca.
Besiktas have not however, confirmed receiving information of an offer from the Red Devils.
Erol said: “Manchester United have made an offer to Benfica for Anderson Talisca that will trigger his release clause, it looks like he will be saying goodbye to Besiktas.”
