Euro giants hope to convince Liverpool to sell international star in January

Serie A giants Juventus are still hopeful of signing Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can in January.

The 23-year-old has been closely linked with a move away from Merseyside after failing to pen a new deal. Can has entered the final six months of his contract and will be able to hold talks with European clubs from January 1 onwards.

According to the Italian outlet Corriere dello SportJuventus want to sign Can in January in order to avoid a summer ‘auction’.

However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is determined to keep hold of his star midfielder.

Can played a starring role during Liverpool’s victory over Brighton in the Premier League last weekend.
