Euro giants join Liverpool in battle to sign Brazilian wonderkid Thiago Maia who won gold at the Olympics
Turkish Super League side Besiktas are the latest club to be linked with a move for Santos wonderkid Thiago Maia.
The deep lying playmaker has attracted interest from the likes of PSG and Monaco. Maia was part of the Brazil team that won Olympic gold last summer.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool have also expressed an interest in the midfielder according to TalkSport. Per-the-source, Napoli and Schalke are also monitoring the situation.
The Turkish outlet Fotospor meanwhile state that Besiktas are willing to break the bank to land the in-demand Brazilian.

Besiktas scouts Metin Albayrak and Gökhan Keskin have spent a month in Brazil scouting players. Fotospor states that the the duo were extremely impressed with Maia.
Maia’s contract with the Brazilian club Santos expires in 2019.
Besiktas take on Lyon in the Europa League this week as they look to overturn a 2-1 defeat from the first leg.
