Euro Giants line up January move for West Ham star striker – Leicester City’s Slimani also being targeted

Besiktas are on the hunt for a new star striker following the sale of Cenk Tosun to Everton.

The Turkey international completed his £27 million move the Merseyside based club last week and made his debut about Tottenham on Saturday evening.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Besiktas have added two Premier League strikers to their shortlist. West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho is currently the Black Eagles first choice. The Senegal international has managed just two goals in 14 appearances for the Hammers this season.

Per the source, Besiktas want to loan Sakho until the end of the season with an option to buy included.

The Istanbul giants are also courting Leicester City’s out-of-favour striker Islam Slimani. However, Besiktas are aware that Slimani will cost significantly more than Sakho.
